EMMA BRADFORD (British / 1954-)

The painter and printmaker Emma Bradford was born in Seer Green, Buckinghamshire. Emma Bradford studied printmaking at Morley College in the 1970s, and had an exhibition of etchings and aquatints at the Freshwater Gallery in 1979. Absorbed by a successful career as a publisher and typographer, she did not take up printmaking again until 2006. She pulls various kinds of relief prints in very small runs on her own hand press. We also have some original drawings. Emma Bradford has shown her paintings at the Merriscourt Gallery, Pennifex Gallery, and at Knollbury Studio. The Dimbola Lodge Museum staged her exhibition Lines & Spaces in July/August 2008.
