JACQUES BELTRAND (French / 1874-1977)

Jacques Beltrand was one of three engraver sons of the engraver Tony Beltrand; we also have work by his brother Camille Beltrand. Besides his own original work, Jacques Beltrand is particularly remembered for his long collaboration with his close friend Maurice Denis, and for the beautiful engravings he made of Raoul Dufy's illustrations for Vacances Forcées. We also have engravings by Jacques Beltrand after Roger Bezombes and Constantin Guys.
