PHILIPPE FAVIER (French /
1957-)
The painter and printmaker Philippe Favier was born in St-Étienne in the Loire. He now teaches at the École des Beaux-Arts in St-Étienne, where he himself studied under Gérard Pascual. Philippe Favier represented France at the Venice Biennale in 1984, and at the Second Beijing International Art Biennale in 2005. Also in 2005 Philippe Favier had a solo show at the Musée dArt Contemporain, Lyons.
