CAMILLE BELTRAND (French / 1877-?)

Camille Beltrand was part of a famous family of wood-engravers. Camille and his brothers Jacques and Georges all followed in the footsteps of their father, engraver Tony Beltrand. They engraved images for others, including Dufy, Denis, and Huard, as well as producing their own original work. Our coloured wood engravings by Camille Beltrand are extremely rare hand-signed prints on Japan paper, from an unsigned edition of 120, inspired by the work of Paul Valery.
