ALBERTO MAGNELLI (Italian / 1888-1971)

A major Italian Futurist, Alberto Magnelli was born in Florence, and died in Meudon. Magnelli represented Italy at the Venice Biennale in 1950. Alberto Magnelli was closely associated with Robert and Sonia Delaunay and Hans Arp. Magnelli exercised great influence over younger abstract artists such as Aimé Del Marle, Jean Deyrolle, and Victor Vasarely.
