JEAN DEYROLLE (French / 1911-1967)

Jean Jacques Deyrolle was born in Nogent-sur-Marne. After a period influenced by the Fauves, Deyrolle met the painter César Domela and became committed to Constuctivist abstraction. From 1959 Jean Deyrolle was a professor at the Munich Academy of Art. Among his close associates was the abstract painter Jean Dewasne.
