BRASSAI (Hungarian/French /
1899-1984)
Brassaď was the pseudonym of Guyla Halász. He is the greatest photographic chronicler of twentieth-century Paris, and also known for his remarkable nude studies. Brassaď was a close friend of Henry Miller in Paris in the 1930s.
