LARS BO (Danish / 1924-1999)

The Danish painter and printmaker Lars Bo spent most of his working life in Paris. After initial studies in Denmark, Lars Bo moved to Paris in 1947, remaining there until his death in 1999. Lars Bo studied in the atelier of Johnny Friedläender and Albert Flocon from 1948-1950, and then in the legendary Atelier 17 run by Stanley William Hayter. See: Robert Giraud, Lars Bo, 1966.
