EMMA BORMANN (Austrian / 1887-1974)

The Expressionist printmaker Emma Bormann was born in Döbling near Vienna in 1887. Bormann's work includes lithographs, etchings, silkscreens, oils and watercolours, but her favourite medium was the woodcut. She studied under Ludwig Michalek and Oskar Laske.
