NORA DUMAS (Hungarian /
1890-1979)
Nora Dumas quit Hungary for Paris in 1913, only to spend the years 1914-17 in an internment camp, after which she went to the United States. When she returned to Paris in 1928 she bought herself a Rolleiflex, and worked as an assistant in the studio of the Hungarian woman photographer Ergy Landau, before opening the studio Dumas-Satigny with her French husband.
