GUY BARDONE (French / 1927-)

Born in Saint-Claude in the Jura, Guy Bardone studied at the Beaux-Arts, Lyon, before entering l’École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, where he studied under Brianchon, Cavaillès and Desnoyes. In 1952 Guy Bardone won the Prix Félix Fénéon, and in 1957 the Prix de la Fondation Greenshields; in the jury for this latter award were Vlaminck, Dunoyer de Segonzac and Villon.
