Alphonse Édouard Enguérand Aufray de Roc'Bhian, often called simply Alphonse Aufray, was born in Paris. A pupil of Tabar, Baudit, and Hébert, Alphonse Aufray de Roc'Bhian exhibited etchings at the Salon de Paris from 1864-1882. Some of his etchings were published by Cadart. Bénézit spells his name Roc'Bihan, but we believe Roc'Bhian is correct; this is the spelling always used by Cadart.
