ROBERT ANNING BELL (Engish / 1863-1933)

The painter, sculptor and printmaker Robert Anning Bell was born in London. Bell studied at Westminster College of Art, the Royal Academy, and subsequently in Paris, where he was a pupil of Aimé Morot. In 1911 he was appointed chief of the design section of Glasgow School of Art. From 1918-1924 Robert Anning Bell was Professor of Design at the Royal College of Art.
