CLAUS BOJESEN (Danish / 1948-)

The Danish painter, sculptor, and printmaker Claus Bojesen was born in Copenhagen in 1948, and first exhibited at the Kunstnernes Efterårsudstilling in 1971. Associated with the groups Pro, Gyrr, and Passepartout, Claus Bojesen was one of the Danish printmakers who adopted Ib Spang Olsen's technique of zincografi (also known as direkte kopie), which produced relief etchings rather than intaglio prints.
