EUGENE DECISY (French / 1866-c.1936)

The painter and printmaker Eugène Decisy was born in Metz (Moselle). Decisy was a pupil of Boivin, Bouguereau, and Robert-Fleury. He was a member of the Société des Artistes Français, and exhibited at their Salon from 1886. In 1898 he was elected a member of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts.
