HENRI JOSEPH THOMAS (Belgian /
1878-1972)
The Belgian artist Henri Joseph Thomas was profoundly influenced by Félicien Rops, as can be seen in our etchings, made to accompany the risqué poems of Rops’ friend Théo Hannon. Thomas was born in Molenbeck-Saint-Jean, and died in Brussels. He studied at the Beaux-Arts in Brussels.
