IDBURY PRINTS

Original lithograph by Édouard Pignon, hand-signed in pencil lower left. Printed on Rives by Maurice Pons. From one of 50 suites of the lithographs by 20 different artists for the book Variations sur l'amour, edited by Raymond Cogniat and Philippe Lebaud for Club du Livre in 1968. Besides the 50 suites of prints, there were 190 bound books (plus authors' and artists' copies); 20 of the books were printed on Japon nacré, 30 on Auvergne, and the rest on Rives. This print comes from the suite accompanying copy 14 (one of 20 on Japon). Condition: Fine.
