IDBURY PRINTS

Original etching by Léon Gaucherel (1816-1886) after a social realist painting by George Henry Boughton exhibited at the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1878. Signed by Gaucherel in the plate, with printed credits to artist, etcher, title, printer and publisher. Printed on laid paper by François Liénard. Published by the revue L'Art. In generally excellent condition with a few insignificant spots in the outer margins, easily framed out. The etching is pin-sharp; our photo is a little blurred. Condition: Excellent, see description.
