IDBURY PRINTS

Original etching by Anders Zorn, signed in the plate. Ref: A&ZG 62. This etching was issued in 450 copies (of which 25 signed) by the Swedish Society of Graphic Art in 1893, and again that year or the year following by der Gesellschaft für Vervielfältigende Kunst, Vienna, in an unknown but small number. This is one of the Viennese proofs. These were published as part-page plates, so there is type below the etching and on the reverse (with no show-through). It's a beautiful, deeply-inked proof. There is a little foxing on the sheet, well away from the image and easily hidden by a mount. Condition: Excellent, see description.
