IDBURY PRINTS

Original etching by Armand Rassenfosse, signed and dated in the plate and stamped with the artist's monogram lower right. This etching was one of twenty signed original prints tipped in to a copy of the 1934 special edition of the art revue L'Art Belge, edited and published by Isy Brachot. The copy was no. XVII of the hors commerce (not-for-sale) copies, specially printed for Louis Dumont-Wilden, an art critic/historian and contributor to the revue. Ordinary copies did not have the original plates. It is not possible to say for sure how many special copies were made up with the original prints, but it is likely to be a very low number. Condition: Fine.
