Original etching by Frédéric Auguste La Guillermie after the painting by Camille Corot. Printed on Japan paper. As published in The Barbizon School by David Croal Thomson, which was published in an edition of 280 copies by Chapman and Hall. The etchings for this work were printed quite separately from the letterpress, but the name of the printer is not given. This etching was originally published by Durand-Ruel in his Receuil d'Estampes of 1873. In elegant type above are the words Durand-Ruel Collection 1873, and below Laguillermie sculp and the title, with the words Corot pinx inscribed in drypoint. Condition: Excellent.
