PAULUS POTTER (Dutch /
1625-1654)
Paulus Potter (or Paul Potter) was the son of the painter Pieter Symonsz Potter; his mother was the sister of the painter Willem Bartsius. Paulus Potter had a remarkable artistic career, but died at the age of only 29. Bulls and cows were among his favourite motifs.
