JEAN COCTEAU (French / 1889-1963)

Jean Maurice Eugène Clément Cocteau was born at Maisons-Laffitte, Yvelines, in 1889. One of the most outrageously talent Frenchmen of his day, Cocteau achieved real success as a poet, playwright, novelist, filmmaker, and visual artist. Our original lithographs by Cocteau were mostly created as illustrations to his own plays.
